The three hospitals, which had been repurposed as referral hospitals to treat patients of Covid-19, are RSAL Mintohardjo, RSUP Fatmawati, and RSUP Persahabatan.

“This is to show that palm oil producers are concerned with the pandemic and care about the medical workers who fight to tackle the pandemic,” said Mukti Sardjono, executive director of Gapki, in a written statement in Jakarta on Tuesday (24/3).

Mukti said that the medical assistance given to the three hospitals are collected from Gapki executives and member companies under the program of Gapki Peduli (Gapki Care). “The personal protection equipment (APD) is very important for medical workers in executing their tasks to treat the Covid-19 patients whose number is increasing,” said Mukti.

We hope those assistances will be beneficial for them in fighting the pandemic,” he said.
