A Helping Hand: IPOA Provided Masks and Cooking Oil Donations for those Affected with COVID-19

JAKARTA – The citizens of Indonesia are still hit by corona virus (Covid-19). This influences not only the health but also their daily activity and economy. This is the same concern and also from the stakeholders joining in Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA).

Through ‘GAPKI Peduli’, IPOA keeps supporting the government to minimize the spread of Covid-19 in Indonesia. After cooperating with ministry of environment and forestry, and ministry of agriculture, IPOA distributed the helps through ministry of trade.

The helps were directly given by Executive Director of IPOA, Mukti Sardjono to the Head of Bureau of Ministry of Trade, Sugih Rahmansyah in the office of ministry of trade, Wednesday (6/5/2020), as in the official written statement to InfoSAWIT.

“11.200 maskers and 1.008 liters of cooking oil were given to ministry of trade to be distributed to the people who get the effects,” Mukti Sardjono said in his speech.

Mukti Sardjono thought that the cooking oil is one of daily needs for the people. “It is hoped that the helps would be useful and enlighten their burdens who get the impacts of this situation,” he said.

The ‘GAPKI Peduli’ as the program to give maskers and cooking oil which the people need of was welcome by ministry of trade positively. Sugih Rahmansyah did appreciate IPOA for their concern from the helps. (T2)
