Biomicrogels Offering Products To Strengthen Sustainability

JAKARTA – Biomicrogels Group, a palm oil technology provider, announced its success in applying two innovative products-Biomicrogel BMG-C4 and Biomicrogel BMG-SPO, to improve sustainability in palm oil mills in Indonesia and Malaysia.

Igor Temirov, Business Development Director of Biomicrogels Group, said that the two innovative products form a single solution which is easy to implement in technological process. The products also bring positive impact in the extraction process of the palm oil by increasing production significantly, reducing oil losses, and raising added economic value.

“The biodegradability capacity of Biomicrogel BMG-C4 and Biomicrogel BMG-SPO will strengthen your company’s commitment on sustainability,” Igor Temirov said in a written statement on Friday, 10 November 2023.

He said Biomicrogel BMG-C4 is a 100% natural product derived from modified food grade cellulose, which has proven as a new breakthrough on the field. The product is designed to separate vegetable oil from solid particles and water.

It increases the oil extraction efficiency during the production process. “By utilizing the Biomicrogel BMG-C4, companies can optimize every stage of oil extraction-from clarification tanks to centrifugation process, ensuring maximum separation of oil from  extraction of the crushed particles and water,” said Igor.

Besides, the Biomicrogel BMG-SPO, cutting-edge product for extraction of sludge palm oil (SPO), has proven to be able to increase extraordinary performance. It increases extraction productivity by 100%, increases oil extraction by 25-36%, reduces water content in SPO from 16% to less than 1%, and reduces water consumption during production process by 300%.

“By using the product of Biomicrogel BMG-SPO, companies can extract SPO in higher quantity and quality within half time needed without additional equipment,” he said.

The products of Biomicrogels Group have been successfully applied in palm oil mills in Indonesia and Malaysia, which are respectively the world’s largest producer and second largest producer of palm oil. By using the products, the mills managed to increase their production efficiency and extraction rate, significantly reduce waste, and bring positive impact to the mills’ environment. (*)
