Based on destinations, the largest export increase was seen to China by 253.8 thousand tons to 1,105.4 thousand tons, followed by exports to Pakistan by 249.6 thousand tons to 376.8 thousand tons, while exports to Bangladesh, Italy and Spain and several other countries, decreased.<\/p>\n<p>The value of palm oil exports in October 2022 reached US$3,734.0 million, which increased from US$3,269.6 million in September 2022. The price of CPO in October 2022 was US$1,099\/ton CIF Rotterdam, which was higher than that in September 2022 at US$1,043.<\/p>\n<p>The domestic consumption of palm oil in October amounted to 2,000 thousand tons, which are higher than the local consumption in September at 1,821 thousand tons. The palm oil consumption for foods rose to 983 thousand tons from 918 thousand tons in September 2022. The consumption for biodiesel production rose to 821 thousand tons from 712 thousand tons in September, while the consumption for oleo-chemical industries saw a slight increase.<\/p>\n<p>The production of CPO in October 2022 reached 4,554 thousand tons and PKO 446 thousand tons, which were relatively at the same level with the CPO production in September at 4,545 thousand tons and PKO at 442 thousand tons.
